A Seattle native and University of Washington alumnus, Dr. McKay graduated from USC Dental School in Los Angeles. A lifelong student, he attends hundreds of hours of post-graduate courses annually to maintain his status as a great dentist in Seattle and a great dentist for Puget Sound. In the late ’90′s he was named Clinical Instructor at the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advanced Dental Studies. Soon after, he left with other LVI instructors to form the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC~Live) at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. Dr. McKay also is in demand for lecturing and teaching internationally. His students number in the thousands.
In 2008, he authored the book, “Bulimia Is a Dental Disease” – the first book of its kind to explore the link between eating disorders and dentistry. As a dentist in Seattle and a dentist for Puget Sound, the result of the book is that he has lectured and participated in the Eating Disorder Professional Community’s meetings and seminars. He continues to do so.
