Diane's Experience

As an individual who suffered from bulimia for ten years, I was able to fight the eating disorder and become healthy again. But I still had to deal with the appearance of my teeth, which were damaged because of the extensive abuse they endured over the course of the years battling with bulimia. I became very self-conscious about the unattractive nature of my smile and teeth. Chewing certain foods caused me discomfort, so I no longer could eat those foods.
