I had my implant placed two weeks ago. Last week I went in to have the crown placed. This week my implant feels loose. Do you know why?

Brandi,
Yes, I do. It sounds to me like your crown was placed prematurely. When an implant is placed there is a recommended healing time to allow the bone to regrow around the implant. This is called osseointegration. Without that, your implant will become loose and will eventually fall out.
If a dental implant is loose, it needs to be removed. The surrounding area needs to be cleaned out. Then some bone grafting will be done. Once an appropriate amount of time has passed for the grafting to be ready, you may place another implant.
You might want to consider going to a different dentist to have this procedure re-done. It doesn’t sound like your dentist understood about the importance of osseointegration.
