I can save a lot of money getting dental implants in Mexico, but I just wondered if you knew how safe it is?

Xander,
I’m sure there are good dentists in Mexico, but my question would be how would you be sure the one you are going to is one of them? They do not have the same standards of care that we have here. We have governmental regulations on sterilization of equipment, they do not have the same security measures.
We’ve heard of people going to Mexico and ending up with a dentist doing a dental implant without even using an x-ray. Then, when something went wrong they had absolutely no recourse.
I’d say you would be better off paying a little more money and having an implant that is properly placed. You wouldn’t want to end up with an infection.
