! I have been coming here for over 7 years. I live in Bellevue but willingly make the trip in to Seattle. The professionals here make a visit to the dentist something I don't dread! State of the art facility and warm, gracious people.

Dr. McKay is the BEST dentist I've ever been to! I constantly receive compliments on my smile - Thank you Dr. McKay! He and his staff are awesome, professional and very caring at the same time. Shannon is also an amazing Dental Hygienist who is very diligent and meticulous with a calming demeanor. I wouldn't go to any other dentist after finding Dr. McKay. His office is also very clean and modern - highly recommended!

Dr Brian McKay, Mari and the whole staff are the best! I had a major decision to make on my teeth, and Dr McKay carefully reviewed my options and patiently and professionally drew out a plan for me. My dental experiences as a child were extremely negative and frightening, so just the thought of beginning a large dental procedure as an adult was overwhelming. Dr McKay & Mari changed everything! I actually looked forward to coming to my appointments! They were so caring and gentle. Sadly my work is all complete now, I have a beautiful smile again thanks to you, Dr McKay, Mari and Staff!! You are awesome!

So far, my thoughts are positive. It not that I don't like the dentist, I don't like or enjoy dentistry and that is because since 1969 I have been literally tortured in the dentist chair. As a result, my dental experiences have been limited over the years. I heard of Dr. McKay several years ago, in fact I listened to him on the radio for quite some time and thought again about getting serious about taking care of my teeth. I need professionalism, know how, proactive suggestions, up to date technology and experience. I do want to waste my time going through a process that will not yield positive results. So far I am convinced that Dr. McKay and his office will deliver on that need. I suppose I will let you know how the process goes. I have every reason so far, to believe I have made the right choice.

Anyone can pay for a ton of advertising but to actually care about your patients and do what they ask for and follow through, not to mention show up for work is not something Dr McKay does!
He is an absolute ass! I got in an accident and lost my front tooth, I specifically asked him to use white in the front of my mouth! He used silver:(
I saw an ad and figured he would care and do the best job and I told him someone was more $ and he joked but was serious and said well looks like I have to raise my prices.
I went in so many times taking a few hours for nothing because he didn't even show for appointments on numerous occasions. Also when he did, he just talked to me and did nothing!
I wasn't there to visit!!!!!
I had a broken computer and he sent me an email telling me he recommended all four
Front teeth be veneers.....I didn't get that email so my bill was substantially higher than I expected.
I have since asked him to fix this silver tooth in the front of my mouth many many many times over and he has not even returned my calls.
He has said he would do it but not guarantee it! Yet still fails to call me back.
I felt I had to write this to save anyone else from watching the great ads on television and falling in to the trap of this horrible experience I had to endure.
Beware!!!!,Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Donald E.Puyallup, WA02Oct 25, 2019Updated review
I have nothing but positives for the staff and the good Dr. The work they do is exemplary. The office is a pleasant place to visit. Everyone is skilled, attentive and solicitous. I look forward to my visits.

I have nothing but the highest appreciation for his work and for his skill. His original work transformed me and it would not be too hyperbolic to say transformed my life. I have always found him to be professional, empathetic and engaged. I can recommend him and his entire staff without any hesitation.

I have a few serious pet peeves: Razor commercials that try to convince me there is some essential difference between men's and women's razors (there isn't), cyclists who insist on speeding by me on the sidewalk when I am walking (YOU ARE A VEHICLE), and being made to feel like I don't know what's best for my own body.
I used to go to Dr. McKay's office for my normal dentistry work, but got fed up when every six months I had to fend off upsells. And by "upsell" I mean he would tell me I needed all four of my wisdom teeth out, and I would ask why, and he'd be unable to give me a good reason, and then I'd decline and he'd sigh heavily, as if I'd just made the worst decision ever. I thought I had for awhile, but the idea of surgery in my mouth freaked me out, and I've never even had a cavity in my fully-erupted wisdom teeth, so I didn't really see the point. They were healthy! "They could cause problems later," he'd say. I'd furrow my brow and say "Well, I go to the dentist every six months; I think you'll catch problems early enough to do something about them when they start happening, right?"
I don't mind saying no to my doctors, but he was pretty insistent that this was a non-negotiable thing, and he tried to convince me that I was just WRONG, which I found completely irksome. He also offered me a $500 nightguard and some tooth whitening. I guess I can't be too hard on him because it IS a cosmetic dentistry place, and partially my fault for going there when I just wanted a basic cleaning and to be checked for problems.
But! Long story short, I got a new dentist. When I asked if my wisdom teeth needed to come out, my new dentist said flatly "No." I like my new dentist.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
